A Step-by Step Guide to Making Professional Audio Recordings in Choral and Church Music

John McCracken, award winning music producer, composer and arranger, and producer of the RIAA certified Gold Record, On Eagle's Wings, for Broadway superstar Michael Crawford, has authored for Curtain Call Productions a series of step-by-step guides to producing inspirational multimedia works for churches and other faith-based organizations. We are pleased to be able to bring you the first article in the series, A Step-by-Step Guide to Making Professional Audio Recordings in Choral and Church Music.

The Parable of Pudgy

The Parable of Pudgy is the prologue to Contemplation: Intimacy in a Distant World, the latest book by renowned Christian Psychotherapist Dr. David F. Allen and the first title to be published by Curtain Call Productions. While Contemplation is geared for a more mature readership, Pudgy contains a subtle yet powerful message that will resonate with children as well as adults. [Look for a forthcoming multimedia DVD based on The Parable of Pudgy... due in autumn, 2004 from Curtain Call Productions!]

Messiah Libretto

Curtain Call Productions has captured - in 5.1 Digital Surround Sound - a unique performance of Handel's classic Messiah, and made it available both on DVD and as a 2 CD set. As a service to those who have purchased either the DVD or CD set, or are considering doing so, we are offering for download the complete Libretto.

A Primer on Audio Loops and Samples

In conjunction with digital audio content innovator Bil Bryant of PowerFX (Sweden), Curtain Call Productions will be offering (beginning in June of 2004) a unique package of audio loops and samples for church media ministry use and the development of inspirational multimedia content and applications. Here we offer a primer on audio loops and samples written by award-winning music producer and CCP collaborator John McCracken.
