CURTAIN CALL PRODUCTIONS RELEASES THE WORLD'S FIRST EVER 5.1 DIGITAL SURROUND SOUND DVD OF HANDEL'S "MESSIAH" PERFORMED AND RECORDED LIVE ALONG THE SEA OF GALILEE.

Don't miss owning this one-of-a-kind performance of one of the world's most enduring and extraordinary musical works.

In the midst of a time when reconciliation seems so difficult, marvel at this event where a Jewish choir and orchestra perform a Christian masterpiece in a German Benedictine Church marking the site of Jesus Christ's miracle of feeding the 5,000. This inspiring performance recorded on December 14, 2002 features Israel's acclaimed Upper Galilee Choir and Ranaana Symphonette Orchestra performing Handel's "MESSIAH" at Tabgha, the traditional site of Jesus Christ's miracle of feeding the five thousand along the Sea of Galilee. The concert video was produced and edited for DVD by Doug Coppi, CEO of Curtain Call Productions and filmed in the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish. It was recorded on high resolution digital video with 5 digital cameras. The audio was recorded in 24 Bit Surround Sound utilizing state-of-the-art microphones. The various recitatives, arias and choruses were filmed from 5 vantage points within the church, which allowed dynamic and visually stunning editing that truly compliments this timeless masterpiece. The music was recorded and mixed under the direction of New York City-based music producer, John McCracken (producer of Michael Crawford's R.I.A.A. certified Gold record, "On Eagle's! Wings" on Atlantic Records) and Sony Music Studios senior recording engineer, Richard King (4-time Grammy winner and winner for the soundtrack of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. This is classical music the way it was truly intended to be heard and seen.

All DVD's are brand new in shrink-wrapped DVD safe boxes. Program length is approximately 120 minutes and is excerpted from the complete MESSIAH. NTSC for all regions.
