The Concert CD features the highly acclaimed USMA Cadet Glee Club of West Point with guest appearances by world-renowned Manhattan Records recording artist Daniel Rodriguez and Broadway star Lea Salonga. Mr. Rodriguez will be featured on the track Into the Fire, a piece he recorded on his first CD The Spirit of America for Manhattan. Tony award winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Flower Drum Song, the voice of Jasmine from the hit Disney movie Aladdin ) is featured on Via Dolorosa. Also featured are some of New York City’s finest session and orchestra musicians on brass and percussion. Sessions were every evening from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the West Point Chapel.

The CD showcases inspirational and patriotic choral works specifically arranged for this recording by renowned arranger/composer Don Fraser. The frontline release of the complete CD of 16 tracks will be shipping on April 26th.

The goal of the Stand Ye Steady project is to publicize the Glee Club, the Academy and its heritage and, through the music, make a clear statement of support for members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have served and are now serving this great country. A portion of the proceeds from its sales will be donated to various organizations supporting the men and women of our Armed Forces and their families.
